This publication was published by the Ministry of Labour in 1977 as a contribution to the Asean Labour Law and Practice Project. It covers the history and establishment of the Workmen’s Compensation Act, as well as the text of the law concerning areas such as death or injury benefits in the event of an accident arising out of and in the course of employment, payment of compensation to workmen who were incapable of continuing their employment because of injuries sustained in accidents or as a result of contracting any of the scheduled occupational diseases.
