This is a collection of three pamphlets on Malay life and customs, Parts I, II and III published in 1908, 1909 and 1910. Each covers a different aspect of Malay life and customs. The first deals with the principal incidents in life such as births, deaths and marriages with four appendices written in Malay. The second gives an account of the conditions under which the Malays lived such as their houses, clothings and furniture. The third describes the recreation of the Malays such dances, music, children's games and toys, including appendices on nursery ryhmes and songs.
