The publication comprises of the text of a speech by Singapore's Prime Minister, Mr. Lee Kuan Yew in the Federal Parliament on May 27, 1965 and excerpts from the press conference given on June 3, 1965 at the Federal Parliament Building. This was after Mr Lee was denied his constitutional rights to reply to allegations by the government ministers and back-benchers where he clarified his stand and replied to the many charges levelled at him.
