The book provides a general perspective on computational fluid dynamics (CFD). Part I introduces the basic thoughts and philosophy of CFD. In Part II, the fundamental aspects of numerical discretization of the governing equations are developed. Part III contains applications of CFD to four classic fluid dynamic problems. In Chap. 6 an entire section is devoted to explaining and illustrating the different computer graphic techniques commonly used in CFD.
