An 1879 directory of Singapore (with brief references to Penang and Malacca), listing the names and addresses of British inhabitants in Singapore, government establishments and institutions, mercantile firms, banks, insurance companies, churches, schools and societies,etc. It contains also information on the colony's climate, manufactures, products, fees, dues, postal rates, stamp duties, steamships and travelling rates. Included were informational sections on Selangor, Sarawak and Siam.
