This is the proceedings of the Workshop held in Manila on 15-18 August 1988. The technical papers presented at the workshop included studies of barriers of entry for women entrepreneurship and how these barriers may be overcome via individuals, or collective, government and other institutional interventions. There are also case studies of how individual women entrepreneurs recount their journeys to entrepreneurship.
