ABRI and the security of Southeast Asia : the role and thinking of General L. Benny Moerdani / Bilveer Singh

Information About

This book is an attempt to understand ABRI's national and regional worldview through the thinking of General Benny. While General Benny was primarily concerned with ABRI's development within Indonesia, he was also conscious, sensitive and instrumental, both in terms of concept and operationalisation, of ABRI's wider role in the region, especially with regard to what has come to be known as the "ASEAN core". This, in turn, affected ABRI, Indonesia and the wider region, and therein lies the importance of understanding the essential General Benny Moerdani and what this has meant for Indonesia and the region as a whole.
