《东西洋考每月统计传》是一份世俗杂志，相当全面地介绍西方各国的历史、地理、科学技术以及文学艺术等内容，包含有份量不多的宗教内容. 它是第一个在中国境内出版的杂志, 于一八三三年八月一日创刊于广州，一八三七年后才迁至新加坡. 目前已知出过三十九期(其中有六期原样出版过两回，实有三十三期内容)，最后一期(但不知是否终刊号)是道光戊戌年(1838年)九月. 该刊的主要编辑者是德国传教士郭实腊.
