Swan & Maclaren : a story of Singapore architecture

About the Book

This book documents the first fifty years of architecture firm Swan & Maclaren's long and illustrious history from 1892-1942. The firm was established 1892 and is the oldest architectural practice in Singapore. The publication is to mark the firm's 125th anniversary in 2017. The book charts the progress of Swan & Maclaren from the earliest days and features a treasure trove of archival architectural drawings as well as rare and previously unseen collection of photographic images from the 1920s and 1930s.
