This publication which comprises of rare old photographs, a wide assortment of documentary materials and colourful images presents the story of how Chinese wayang took root in Singapore, flourished, declined in popularity and has been revived in recent years. The contents also give an inside look into the personal lives of the performers, the happenings in the backstage and the roles acted by the various performers.
