Razwana Begum Bt Abdul Rahim was appointed as a Nominated Member of Parliament in 2023. She was selected as a representative from the education sector, and in Parliament, she spoke on issues such as skills development, public safety and security, and supporting vulnerable individuals and groups. Razwana holds several degrees, including a PhD in business ethics and restorative justice from Monash University, Australia, as well as a Master of Laws (University of London, UK) and a Master of Counselling (Monash University). She is currently an Associate Professor at the Singapore University of Social Sciences (SUSS) and serves as the Head of its Public Safety and Security Programme within the School of Humanities and Behavioural Sciences. Her research interests include criminology, restorative justice and vulnerable individuals and families.

Razwana has been active in public service and has held senior positions in various organisations. She is Vice President II of the Singapore Muslim Women's Association, a member of the Ministry of Family and Social Development’s Fostering Committee and an Advisory Member to the Singapore Youth Court. She also provides expert advice to the European Forum for Restorative Justice. She is regarded as a national and international expert and is regularly approached to provide advice and training, as well as to collaborate on research projects.
