The graduation day

This picture is of my grandfather graduating with his friends of Nanyang University in the year 1962. The picture was taken by his father at that time. He is the third guy from the right in the picture as all the students prepare themselves to be given their graduation certificate. At that time, the university only took in around 400 students a year. He had been studying in Nanyang University, which is now known as Nanyang Technological University or NTU. During his time, the building was still in its first original structure. Whereas now, the university has been majorly renovated to a much bigger and modern building to suit the fast modern living and educational standards of the today world and sadly we will never be able to see the old university again.
