Kentucky Fried Chicken (KFC)

A whole generation of young Singaporeans had grown up eating KFC chickens and other fast food. KFC came to Singapore in 1977. I remember that the taste of my first KFC meal was quite unforgetable, so unlike any steamed chicken or roast chicken that we have eaten before. At first there was only the so called 'original' flavour. Later they introduced the hot and crispy flavour to cater to the local tastebuds.
