The National Library Board and Singapore Computer Society Join Forces to Empower the Community with Digital Knowledge and Skills

Singapore, 26 Aug 2022

The National Library Board (NLB) and the Singapore Computer Society (SCS) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) today, 26 August 2022, at the SCS’s Tech3 Forum.

Under the MoU, NLB and SCS will collaborate to inspire and enable the public to learn more about Information Technology (IT), IT trends and innovations, and their application to daily life through resources on NLB and SCS’s physical and digital platforms, programmes and events, and SCS members’ support of NLB’s learning communities.

NLB and SCS’s joint efforts will augment the national priority to ready our citizens for a smart nation, and NLB’s LAB25 (Libraries and Archives Blueprint 2025) Equaliser role to bridge societal gaps and empower everyone with digital knowledge and skills.
