Assistant Manager (Corporate Development)

Job Responsibilities

  • Handle the financial systems to perform financial administrative duties and to manage the lifecycle of contracts and purchase orders.

  • Perform financial reporting, claims and revenue collection in a timely and accurate manner that is in compliance to Finance Circulars, IMs and guidelines.

  • Monitor and analyse the annual budget through regular tracking and timely update to management on the utilisation status. Propose mitigation action when utilisation is not progressing as planned. 

  • Perform procurement work in an efficient and prompt manner that is carried out in accordance to IM procedures. Provide advice to colleagues on procurement matters.

  • Lead the annual ISO 9001 certification /re-certification process

  • Coordinate the inputs for projects from departments and provide regular updates to management on project status and KPIs achievements.

  • Review and assess manpower and financial needs to optimise resource allocation

  • Administer the management of human resource for departments.

  • Oversee the corporate administrative duties that include inventory control, keys and the mail room


Job Requirements

  • Background in Business or Finance

  • Able to work with numbers comfortably

  • Good analytical skills

  • Able to interact with different stakeholders in the organisation

  • Knowledge of Government IMs, Procurement & Financial Procedures, SAP, GeBiz system and project management would be an added advantage



The successful applicant will be appointed on a 2-year contract.
