The May 2019 edition of The Straits Times Book Club will see Tan Ooi Boon, Senior Vice President & General Manager of Straits Times Press & Straits Times Education, engaging with authors, Karl LaRowe and Ravi Vig on You are Good Enough!
You Are Good Enough! by Karl LaRowe and Ravi Vig will help you to believe it as they share with you on the differences between Enough-ness and Enough-less. They will help you understand that it is natural to feel exhausted, struggling endlessly to find a balance, burnt out both at work and at home. Also, to identify these symptoms so that you can help yourself to feel good again. You Are Good Enough is a book designed to empower everyone by believing that you are good enough no matter what - and that is the beginning for self-improvement in life. A Q&A about the book will follow with book signing.
About the authors
Karl LaRowe is an international speaker, trainer, coach and author who helps people transform stress, burnout and depression into positive energy and engagement. He received his Master’s degree from the University of Chicago and is licensed as a mental health professional. He has over 20 years of experience as a speaker/trainer.
Ravi Vig is a business leader who has provided transformational and change leadership to organisations in non-profit, private and public sectors in many countries. He has a Master of Business Administration degree from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business, and Strategic Non-Profit Management Certification from the Harvard Business School.
Pre-registration is required for every session. If you have registered and are unable to attend, please cancel your registration so other readers have the opportunity to attend the session.

The session will run from 7.00-8.30pm ; registration will start from 6.30pm. Food catering has ceased, with effect 01 Jan 2019.
About the Book Club
The Straits Times Book Club seeks to create a platform for book lovers to meet the authors of important and bestselling titles, as well as build a community around the written word. This club features a slate of The Straits Times journalists moderating sessions on new titles every last Wednesday of each month from 7.00pm-8.30pm.
