With the threat of diabetes on the rise, carbohydrate foods are increasingly in the spotlight. This talk seeks to address some of the confusion around carbohydrate foods, their relationship to calories and how one can eat these foods without fear. What do carrots have to do with it? Well, you'll have to attend the talk to find out. Participants will get a chance to sign up for a free measurement on their body composition.

About the speaker:
Lee Xiu-Ping is the founder of Artful Eating, a cooking studio that teaches people how to cook and eat artfully. She has been teaching people about food, cooking and nutrition since 2010 and has a Masters of Nutrition and Dietetics from Flinders University and a Bachelor of Nutrition from Curtin University, Australia.
