 Ditengah tengah pohon Melati
Di sana bingung di sini bingung
 Samalah sama menaruh hati"

English translation:
"Mounts to the right and mounts to the left of me
Between them lies the jasmine sweet
Befuddled art thou just as me
We art both our hearts in need"
