On a Moonlit Night

The sky above us holds the moon, sun and stars – and they have their own stories. There was a maiden who longed for the moon, another whose celestial powers were stolen and of course the bloodbath that once took place in the heavens. To what extend did these characters go to in their pursuit of happiness?  Hosted by Kamini Ramachandran of MoonShadow Stories, this programme features guest storytellers Verena Tay and Dawn Lau with an evening of stories that reflect the sky above us.

Stories for Grown-Ups celebrates the oral tradition of storytelling for adults. Join us once a month, for an engaging evening of thought provoking and fun stories by professional and budding tellers at the library.
