This year, the sixth instalment of Read! Fest is anchored on the theme of Voyage. Book a trip with us and discover alternative forms of reading at Read! Fest 2019 programmes as we journey through space and time, only from 22 June – 28 July.

For more details, visit www.nationalreadingmovement.sg/readfest.

Join us for the book launch of the Kuehville series! Kuehville celebrates local kueh through fun facts and narratives inspired by their physical attributes, origins and recipes. The Kuehville characters reflect our own cultural diversity and the ingenuity that begat the incredible variety of kueh found in Singapore and our neighbouring countries. In this first book of a series, Nine the kueh lapis learns the importance of assessing a situation and taking a helpful course of action.

The book launch will include a book reading segment and art activities.
Illustrator Ben Lai is a multidisciplinary designer with a passion for telling stories through picture books. His first picture book, “I Can” is short-listed for the Hedwig Anuar Children’s Book Award.

Author Zen Ho wears different hats at a handful of small businesses, most noticeably developing mobile apps under the moniker “Frozen Ape”. In his spare time, Zen is a dedicated musician with an unhealthy obsession for guitars.

This programme is suitable for children aged 4 years and above, parents and adults.
