LISHA (Little India Shopkeepers and Heritage Association) was established in 2000. The strong support from government bodies such as the Singapore Tourism Board and Hindu Endowments Board, and professional organizations such as the Serangoon Merchant’s Association helped establish LISHA to promote Little India’s heritage, culture, business and commercial activities. LISHA plays a significant role in Little India by organizing and refining yearly festivities such as Deepavali Light-Up, UTSAV Street Parade, Pongal Festival, Tamil New Year Celebrations etc.
LISHA Literacy Club

LLC encourages and promotes the usage of all the official languages of Singapore and its literature. LLCs activities includes simplifying literature and training students to speak and write in Tamil and improving their oratorical, writing and presentation skills.
