Read! Fest is back for the 5th year running! NLB’s annual literary festival continues to celebrate the joy of reading, this year dedicated to The Pursuit of Happiness. Find your happiness through the many programmes lined up from 22 Jun – 28 Jul.

We all tell stories – whether it is at a gathering with friends, while we are on a date, or even when we’re trying to impress a prospective employer! This Read! Fest, come join us for an afternoon of laughter, tears, and fascinating anecdotes as told by people from all walks of life. Listen in as they share their real-life memories and experiences as based on the theme of ‘Happiness’, and maybe you might be inspired to tell one of your own!

This programme is suitable for an audience aged 16 and above. Should you be unable to attend, please release your slot using the ‘self-cancellation’ function in the automated email. This will free up the slot for another person. There is no waitlist for this programme.

About Story Slam Singapore

Story Slam Singapore is Singapore’s first monthly, live storytelling event that aims to give people a platform to share their lived experiences and real-life stories in a warm, and empathic environment. They believe in the shared commonality of the human experience, and work toward allowing people to both share and listen to the real-life experiences of their storytellers in a safe, open, and inclusive space.
