All of us want people to like us but we sometimes face challenges in not knowing how to make ourselves likable. It is a mistaken belief that being likeable comes from natural, unteachable traits that belong only to a lucky few (the good looking, the fiercely social, and the incredibly talented).

In reality, being likeable is under our control.  We can learn how to better interact and connect with the people that we meet. Increasing our Likeability Quotient is one of the most essential skills we should develop because it helps us in developing relationships with our colleagues, bosses, business associates and even with our customers.

People prefer to work with or even buy things from people that they know, like and trust. Therefore, it is important for a person in any profession to make themselves more likeable so that they can connect with others to form strong and lasting relationships.

Relationship building skills are paramount in determining how to solidify long-term relationships, open doors and create opportunities for the person to be successful.

In summary, likeable people would have more chances to be successful because they generally get more opportunities in life.

About the speaker
Andrew is a very dynamic, vibrant, entertaining and engaging speaker and trainer. He has more than 10 years of training & facilitation experience and more than 30 years of business to business sales and senior management experience.

He brings with him a wealth of speaking, training & facilitation experience in the subjects of Sales, Leadership, Communication, Influencing, Presentation Skills, Speaking Skills, Change Management and many others.

Andrew is a certified John Maxwell Team Trainer, Speaker and Coach. He frequently trains and speaks to businesses and professional groups; and assists businesses and groups to identify areas to improve in their sales and leadership.
