Join us for this tour and discover the treasures that lie within the National Library. Led by our librarian, don’t miss this chance to find out more about the fascinating materials from the Library’s Rare Materials collection related to Singapore as an early travellers’ hub.

On display will be maps, travelogues, memoirs, guidebooks, pictorials and postcards that provide a glimpse of the ‘must-go and must-dos’ for travellers to Singapore during the late 19th and early 20th centuries.

You will also visit the Lee Kong Chian Reference Library where you will learn more about our Singapore Heritage and Southeast Asian collections.

Free admission. Registration is required.
