Often, the only thing worse than having a difficult discussion, is not having one at all. To help you understand and prepare for difficult discussions, this workshop focuses on understanding and learning why and when difficult discussions are needed, and provide you with tools to manage your own difficult discussions.

We cover topics such as getting the sequence of the discussion right, managing the place and space and how to actively listen and ask the right questions. This workshop will also introduce you to a conversational model that you can apply to all difficult discussions, learn how to deal with ‘hardball’ tactics, and understand what to do when things go wrong.


About the trainer

Andrew is the founder of Wasabi Consulting, with over 25 years of experience working with multi-national companies in Asia, Europe and Australia. He has led global projects, managed large customer accounts and sales teams, and delivered global training programs. In the course of his work, he has managed and coached others in having difficult discussions. He holds an MBA and BA degrees and is a certified Cultural Intelligence (CQ) trainer.
