What is “Clement Space”, and where might city-dwellers find respite and equilibrium, away from stressful environments? In a first-of-its-kind Disability-led Residency in library@orchard, Dr. Dawn-joy Leong, an autistic researcher and multi-disciplinary artist, will be mentoring two emerging artists with learning differences, Cavan Chang and Timothy Lee. They will also be collaborating with other disabled artists from Project Tandem, led by theatre producer Peter Sau, to design, craft, articulate, and experience “Clement Space”.

In this talk, Dr. Leong, Cavan, and Timothy, will present their work using different ways of communication: through words, pictures, objects and body movements, according to their individual comfortable modes of interaction. There will be a Q & A session at the end.
