About Craft Parties
Curious about certain craft forms? Our artseen craft parties aim to provide quick taster sessions of a craft form taught by specialised artisans. Throughout the programme, there will also be a craft booth display, and our facilitators will be on hand to recommend suitable craft books and craft projects for your exploration –  bring home a book to accompany your project!

Our craft parties are meant for youths and adults, but children aged 7 – 12 are welcome as long as they have an adult to work alongside them.

SHRINK PLASTIC BOOKMARKS

11 February 2018, Sunday
Craft Party operates from 2pm – 6pm, sessions are conducted in hourly intervals.
This registration page is for 4pm – 5pm.

*This is the second run of this craft booth, hence priority will be given to first-time participants.

Shrink plastic is a material which morphs from flexible plastic sheets (much like transparency films) to smaller hard plastics when heated in an oven. They are also pliable when heated, which allows for bending and twisting of the material to form tactile embellishments or accessories. In this craft booth, learn the properties of this fun craft material with WahSoSimple and get to design your own bookmarks – the perfect partners for your library books!

About the Instructors
WahSoSimple is a local craft outfit put together by two friends, and they believe that crafting should be simple, fun and satisfying. Co-founder Lee Sin spent over a decade using her right brain in her marketing role on a multi-national brand when she decided to combine this experience with her love of crafts by producing a series of craft kits and workshops for both first timers and experienced crafters.
