Archives Unlocked - Dig Deeper into the Malay Audio Visual Records
Curious about what goes on in the National Archives of Singapore? Join us for this monthly series of talks, as we unlock stories of our nation through the archives’ collections.
The National Archives of Singapore is home to more than 24,000 Malay-language audio visual records. More than 90 percent of these centre on the historical, socio-cultural, political and economic evolution of Singaporean Malays.
Join Senior Librarian Mohamed Salim as he shares some of these Malay archival records that trace the development of Singaporean Malays since the early 1900s.

Mohamed Salim is a Senior Librarian with the National Archives of Singapore. He works in the Audio Visuals (AV) Archives, with a focus on acquiring and preserving AV material, including Malay AV records.
