Join Associate Librarian Chong Ren Rong as she brings you into the weird and wonderful world of graphic novels and webcomics. Discover prime examples of visual storytelling beyond the Marvel and DC universes, and how this art form has evolved in the digital age.

About the speaker:
Ren Rong is an Associate Librarian in library@orchard. After obtaining a BFA in Digital Animation from the NTU School of Art, Design and Media, she furthered her interest at UCLA Research in Engineering, Media and Performance to work on visual development for interactive media projects. She now works on design-related projects for library@orchard. In her free time, she goes online to read stories, enjoy webcomics, and cringe at the unnecessary abundance of puns.
