Ever wondered what librarians do? In this series of monthly talks, find out what makes our librarians tick as they share highlights of their work from the collections of the National Library.

The horror genre has a special place in Singapore’s book publishing and movie history as seen through iconic publications and productions such as The Almost Complete Collection of True Singapore Ghost Stories books and Pontianak films. Using the National Library’s collections, join Associate Librarian Jacqueline Lee as she embarks on a journey through Singapore’s published horror heritage and its evolution, while reflecting on the wider culture of horror in Singapore—including what it can teach us about our society and ourselves.

Free Admission.
