Time for Tech

Seniors Tech And Read [STAR]

Let our volunteers guide you in these one-on-one sessions where you will get to learn how to download the NLB mobile app and gain access to our wide collection of e-books and e-Newspapers. The duration of this service is 45 minutes.

Digital Clinic for Seniors

A collaboration with IMDA, the digital clinic sessions aim to equip seniors with essential smartphone skills. Take a queue number and meet volunteers who will share tips on how to make your smartphones work better for you. Learn how to download apps, adjust your phone settings, set up Wireless@SG, and more! The duration of this one-to-one walk-in service is 20 minutes.

Silver Digital Creators

Be a digital creator and take your creativity & digital skills to the next level! Whether it is Digital Photography, Movie Making, Digital Music, Coding, Book Authoring or Art, choose any combination of courses to suit your interest. Registration is required.

Free Internet Hotspots

Singaporeans or Permanent Residents aged 50 and above can get one hour of free internet access daily, at any of the multimedia stations in our public libraries (except library@chinatown & library@orchard).

To use the hotspots, you just have to sign up for a free myLibrary ID if you are already a library member.

Interest Groups for the 50plus

Share, discuss, or learn hands-on at our interest groups on topics ranging from reading to craft to technology. These regular interest group meetings are suitable for people aged 50 and above. They are facilitated by library staff or volunteers using library resources or other reading materials.

Northern Region
