The Fault in Our Stars is the sixth novel written by author John Green. It is about Hazel, a depressed sixteen year old cancer patient, who met Augustus, a boy in the cancer kid support group that she is in. Augustus is an ex-basketball player and an amputee. The two then fell in love with each other and spent their slow-paced humorous, touching and sad moments together at Indianapolis, their hometown.
What I liked about the story plot was that Hazel and Augustus battled their illness together, treasured life and lived it to the fullest despite the condition that they are in. I also liked the fact that both Hazel and Augustus have a sarcastic and funny personality.
Will they live happily ever after or will tragedy strike? I think almost any teenager or reader would enjoy this book. It may also change the perspective of those who find life boring or does not appreciate life.
